The first day of school is tomorrow. I’ve been preparing for a while now, almost three weeks but still feel like another few days are just what I need. Went out and bought supplies…just like I guess most of my students have done. I’m giddy.
It’s interesting. Being an adult and teacher you’d think that those first day jitters would disappear. But really, they don’t. Think of it: All over North America (the World?) there are millions of students who are nervous and excited about the beginning of a new school year. If it’s comforting in any way, teachers are just as nervous and excited.
